Can you tell us a little about your business?

Spafinder Wellness Inc. is the world’s largest media, marketing and gifting company for the wellness industry. With over 25 years of experience as a spa and wellness authority, the company, through its Spafinder Wellness 365 brand, guides the industry, partners, consumers and employers with the most comprehensive resource for wellness-related products, services and insight in the marketplace.

The company’s European branch, Spafinder Wellness UK, Ltd. now based in The City, meets the growing demands of spas and spa users across the EU, Middle East and Africa.

What issues did you have?

We wanted to move from Milton Keynes to The City of London, and we needed a supplier with the right expertise who could unravel our complex IT and communication requirements.

Why did you choose CMC?

Our existing IT supplier was neither interested or attentive, so we were introduced to local company CMC. We met to discuss the move and immediately found them proficient, helpful, knowledgeable and reasonable. Their quote and service level agreement were quickly agreed, with the move scheduled for May 2013.

What did they do for you?

CMC handled the transfer of our computer systems from MK to the new offices in The City. They set up the network, hardware and cabling, including immediate shared access to a neighbour’s high-speed broadband. CMC then liaised directly with BT to install a dedicated fibre-optic broadband connection so we could access the servers in New York. New VOIP phone lines, handsets and call plans, together with an ongoing maintenance and monitoring contract, all ensured that the new office was established on schedule and continues to run very efficiently.

What are they like to work with?

We found CMC helpful, efficient and professional from the outset. The entire team is very down-to-earth and have been quick to deal with any issues. The remote monitoring has worked well, with no gaps in service. Technically they are very strong, even setting up new Cisco hardware for both our London and New York offices. Overall we are satisfied with the work completed to date and would definitely recommend CMC – in fact we have already provided references for their new prospects.
