Can you tell us a little about your business?
I always explain that I work for Stadium:MK which comprises five different businesses, including the 220 room Double Tree by Hilton hotel, MK Dons Football Club, the MK Dons Sport & Education Trust as well as the exhibition/conference facilities and sporting venue. As you can imagine, it’s a big job!
Why did you choose CMC?
I was introduced to CMC as a current sponsor and over time have given them various jobs to quote on. I should also emphasise that just because they are a sponsor, service quality and price remain key to working with us.
What did they do for you?
Initially CMC helped us move from an ADSL to a 100Mb broadband connection for the Double Tree hotel. This job went very well so I had no hesitation in asking them to do the same for MK Dons. They have also provided our mobile phones, helping us port from Vodafone to EE and negotiated new handsets.
Recently I was putting together a specification for some new office furniture we required for the expanding Box Office – Sascha rang whilst I was doing this and explained CMC also offered this, so the timing was perfect!
Our Box Office manager had vision of what they wanted to achieve – with colour coordinated desks, side tables, chairs and screens. From a meeting with the manufacturer and a very competitive quote, the new furniture was delivered in just 3 weeks.
What are they like to work with?
We have found them easy to work with and strong supporters of the club. CMC are friendly, efficient and very responsive. We can always get hold of them when needed and the process of working with them is easy. The speed and efficiency of the office furniture order is a great example of their commitment – in my book the sign of good service is responding quickly.
